英語科授業公開＆セミナー with Cambridge
2023年11月2日(木) 10時20分～英語教育に携わる先生方などを対象に、本年度も「近畿大学附属高等学校英語科授業公開＆セミナー with Cambridge 2023」を実施いたします！本校ではこれまでCambridgeの教材を用い、英語5技能のバランスのとれた向上を目指して日々の授業を行ってきました。Better Learning Partnerとしての認定をけ、Communicative Language Teaching(CLT)に基づく手法のもと、コミュニケーション中心の授業展開を推進しています。授業構築の苦労や教員研修等の試行錯誤を含め、多くの方々と本校の今の英語教育を共有し、ともに研鑽できる場としたいと考えています。参加費は無料です。今年度は授業公開に加えて、CambridgeのティーチャートレーナーAllen Davenport先生が来日されてのスペシャルセミナーを開催！！多くの方のご参加をお待ちしております。

[スペシャルセミナー(英語での実施)] Teaching Communicatively(1F 第一会議室)
In this workshop, we will explore Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), focusing on essential concepts like communicative competence, various CLT approaches, the roles of teachers, and communicative tasks. By actively engaging in discussions and activities, participants will gain practical insights and ideas to enrich language learning experiences to foster dynamic and communicative language classrooms that empower learners to confidently and authentically use English in real-life scenarios.

Allen Davenport先生 プロフィール
Allen Davenport is the Professional Learning and Development Manager for Cambridge based in the ASEAN (Southeast Asia) region. He has been actively involved in education for over two decades as a teacher, training consultant, academic director, and examiner for numerous international exam boards. Allen holds a bachelor's degree in anthropology and linguistics, a master's degree in education with a focus on student development, and several other teaching qualifications and certifications related to teaching English as an additional language. In addition to working with teachers in schools and institutions as a teacher trainer, he has often been a featured speaker at international conferences and events. Allen's professional interests include the development of creativity in learners and connecting theory to practice in language learning.
